Well for this assignment we had to have a conversation with someone that is in the carrer that we would like to be in after we graduate. So the person I contacted was Robert Lee Greene Sr., who works for the federal government of the United States, in the TSA, and has worked along with many other federl law enforcement agencies, as well as been employed with other agencys such as FAA, and being a Federal Air Marshall.
Whn I asked him how well I'd be able to make a living after college, he replied to me saying the following, " the worlds always going to need doctors, teachers, and police".He said there will always be a job in law enforcement, especially how the nation is now, with its concern with terrorism and such, the job security is very high. He pretty much said nothing could really hurt my effects of getting the job in the future, besides my personal choices.Things like getting in trouble with the law and stuff like that, But as far as getting a job in federal law enforcement, the odds are good
Some extremely valuable information he did give me though, were ways that I could help ensure I'd get the job when i apply for it after I graduate. He said I can intern for an agency that I want to work with now, so that It'll make it easier for me when i actually apply. As well as Criminology Frats, that look good on my resume also.

Finish - Footprint
To reduce my ecological footprint, it actually wasnt that difficult at all. When I first started it said it would take almost 4 earths to support my lifestyle. After everything I did to reduce that, the fiugures drastically changed. I walked everywhere for 24 hours, I didnt accept rides, now ride the bus. I also ate a lot different that I usually would. I also tried to create a lot less waste as I usually would. I believe seeing as though Im in college my footprint is a lot less because im restricted and dont do as much as I would when I was back home with my own vehicle.I believe that it is a lot less expensive to live reducing your footprint because you use less transportation, and you also cut down on a lot of other things.

End
At the first mention of this assingment, I heard a few people in class expressing how hard it was going to be for them, and showing their obvious distress about the whole situation. But personally I wasnt to worried about it. I grew up without alot of the communicating technologys, My house didnt have a t.v. or electricity at times, I had never even used a computer until maybe the end of middle school, or close to the beginning of high school, my house didnt have a computer until I was well into my teens, and I remember never having a cell phone when all of my other classmates did, so i didnt assume not having these things would be a big issue for myself.So personally the things that I cut out were television, radio, myspace,facebook, and talkin on the television. It was just a difficult situation because on this day i was flying back to Tampa from Miami, so I needed some forms of communiction to contact a ride and such.But even though I thought this assignment wouldnt have than much of an impact on my life, it really did. I realized that when I was younger I didnt care about a lot of those things because I was pre occupied with other things, such as playing, or learning things that didnt necessarily require me to use such technologys. But now, my life is basically runs off these things. I felt as If I didnt know what was going on in the world, whether it was global news, or just news between me and my friends and family. I felt isolated from the rest of the world basically. I also saw myself with a lot more free time that I didnt know what to do with, I found myself doing a whole bunch of nothing, just wandering around complaining about how I wasnt allowed to text, or go on myspace. Which I realize takes up alot of the time.I see the world differently now because I see how our world and generation really is based upon technology now, and people would probably be damn near crippled without it. It would cause total chaos, and thats not even an exaggeration.But overall it was a good experience and oped my eyes to a lot.

One Challenge
I believe a challenge that will be faced by my family and friends within the next 4 years, and beyond , is the challenge of racial prejudice, and bias. Though this issue isnt as prevalent and big as it has been for generations before us, and even though we've obviously made a great im provement seeing as though we have an African American President of the United States, racism and prejudice, is far from being dead. Personally it has affected me in my life a great amount of times, as well as my friends and family. Whether its in the judicial system, job market, or some other kind of setting, I've seen examples of it time after time again. And its not only African Americans as myself that deal with this problem, Middle Eastern individuals, Homosexual people, everyone is subject to the hate, and its a nationwide epidemic. This is an injustice because we've come too far in this country, for people to still have such closed minded views. And no matter how much people try and say its not a big problem, and the issues fading away, examples come up everyday like things such as the Jena 6 incident, or the plot the Neo-Nazis had to kill President Obama, this problem is far from solved. But i believe we as a people, we as American citizens can help make a difference, and corrent the problem by leading by example. Opening our minds and educating the ignorant. Whether thats just by takin to people, or getting involved with certain groups that also ty and support this, we can make things better and continue to make progress by living our lives to where we really do treat every individual as an equal, and see ourselves more as Americans, rather than by our color, beliefs, or sexual orientation.We have to lead by example.

POSSIBLE DIRECTIONS FOR PAPER #2
1.) Is all crime bad crime? In the video game titled Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, a vast amount of committed, but not without justifiable reasoning.
2.) Why are certain games given certain maturity levels. GTA: San Andreas was changed from a level of “M” for mature, to another level based on certain aspects of the game. What makes them choose certain levels for certain games, and how does this effect the amount of money the game produces, along with other consequences for certain maturity levels.
3.) Politicians, and others have protested and rallied against many violent games such as GTA: San Andreas. Should the government have the ability to police, and regulate the ratings, and content of certain games.

2 Online Video Game Articles
The title of my first articles was, What Video Games Can Teach Us, and the link is as follows;
(http://www.sciencenewsforkids.org/articles/20040121/Feature1.asp). This article pretty much hilighted all the positive aspects of video games, it explains how video games can actually help kids that have problems focusing, and can be utilized in a learning environment to help keep kids interested in school, and enjoy the whole thought of school more. I believe the article makes a lot of sense, and by incorporating video games into a learning environment, and making games into educational tools, it would definately help kids learn and become more interested in school.
The title of the econd article was, The Violent Side of Video Games,and the link is, (http://www.sciencenewsforkids.org/articles/20040114/Feature1.asp). This article was pretty much the opposite of the previous one I read. It was about the violence in certain video games, and the argument as to If the violence from video games, causes people to act more violent and do violent things. In my opinion I dont believe the video games make people do violent things, you do it because you want to. Video games are media, just like television and movies, thats it, they dont force your hand in doing anything you dont want to do.

THESIS
The two games I played used opposing methods to bring awareness to major issues. Five Minutes to Kill Yourself 2 uses comedic means to bring awareness to suicides, while Darfur is Dying uses real life facts to bring awareness to the crisis in Darfur.
